Therefore, furtheractionswillbe taken in order to increase the delay of corrosive agents entrance into the iBoosterbraking system, because the new sealdesignby itself is not able to do so. Results proof that the new T-shape design is not providing any remarkable improvementregarding seal’s robustness. To verify its efficiency, the new design has been tested by doing the corrosion tests specified on the Bosch’s norms. The new design, with the same volume and material as the current one, is able to reach higher sealing pressures and, therefore, make the entrance of corrosive agentsmore difficult. The solution consists in a T-shape design of the seal, insteadof the typical O-Ring. To do so, different designsarestudied using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulationsin order to obtainthe most adequate design. ![]() Thus, the aim of this project is to study a solution to this problem, based on a new design of one of the seals ofthe iBooster, whose only function is to delay corrosion entrance into the system. Unfortunately, that second question is harder to answer. Moreover, semiconductor giants like Intel and TSMC are also building new plants to meet demand. The German company already went out and build a massive 1 billion Euro semiconductor assembly plant in Dresden, Germany. Bosch iBooster Gen-2 Universal Wire Harness 155. Today, the engineering Bosch team is already developing the second iBooster generation. However, this new iBooster is not robust enough to protect the inside of the braking systemagainst corrosion. Thankfully, Bosch already has answers before even asking the question. highly dynamic A fast pressure build-up enables short stopping distances for automatic emergency braking and covers future NCAP requirements. This new braking system, callediBooster, is already on the market and its growth expectations are very high. With the iBooster, Bosch has developed a vacuum-independent, electromechanical brake booster that meets the demands of a modern braking system. In this spirit, Bosch developed the autonomous brake system, which detects when a collision isabout to happen and brakes the car without any previous driverinput. We are livingin an era where new technologies allowall sectors, specially the automotive sector, invest onsecurityimprovements fortheir clients. ![]()
